Please read the terms of service before using the site.

The following terms of service govern and apply to your use of or access to the site maintained by Technologies juridiques Legalsensus Inc. (the “site”).

We may provide you with certain information due to your use of the site, including documents, data, or information developed by us, or any other element that could help you in using the site or services (the “Company Content”). The Company Content may not be used for any purpose other than using the site and services offered on the site. Nothing herein may be interpreted as attributing to you a license or intellectual property rights.

3. User account and account use

If your use of the site requires a user account:

  • you are solely responsible for your user account, the maintenance, confidentiality, and security of your account and all related passwords, as well as the activity of any person who has access to your account;

4. Payment

When you make a purchase on the site, you agree to provide a valid payment instrument. Pay attention to the transaction details as the total price may include taxes, fees, and shipping costs for which you are responsible. When you provide us with a payment instrument, you declare that you have permission to use that payment instrument and you authorize us, as well as the payment service we use, to charge the total amount to that instrument.

If you pay by debit or credit card, we may obtain a pre-authorization from the card issuer for an amount up to the total of the transaction. We reserve the right to cancel any transaction if we believe it violates these terms or if doing so can prevent financial loss. Payment for any ongoing service will be billed automatically until you notify us that you wish to terminate the services.

5. Sale of products and / or services

We commit to being as accurate as possible regarding any information about goods and services. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any information relating to a product, and you acknowledge and agree that the purchase of such products is at your own risk.

If you are not satisfied with a service that was sold to you, send an email to info@legalsensus.ca within thirty (30) days following the billing period in question. Include your full name, email address, and order number.

6. Affiliate marketing and advertising

Through the site and its services, we may engage in affiliate marketing activities for which we receive a commission or percentage of sales. We may also accept advertising or sponsorships from commercial enterprises.

7. Acceptable use of the site

You agree not to use the site for illegal purposes or any other purpose prohibited under this clause. You agree not to use the site in any way that could harm the site, services, or business of Technologies juridiques Legalsensus Inc. You also agree not to use the site to:

8.1 Data ownership

By using our services, the user declares and guarantees to be the legitimate owner of all information, documents, or questions they share on our platform, or that they hold the necessary rights to use them in accordance with these terms.

8.2 Usage license

By providing information, documents, or questions on our platform, the user grants Technologies juridiques Legalsensus Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and commercialize this content for the purpose of developing the intelligence of our software and improving our services.

8.3 User responsibility

The user is solely responsible for the content they share on our platform and guarantees that it does not violate any third-party rights or any applicable law.

9. Privacy protection

By using our site, you may provide us with certain information. By using the site, you authorize us to use your information in Canada and in any country where we may operate. We use the information collected to ensure you have a good experience on the site. If you choose to terminate your account, we will store and retain your information for one (1) year. Our site exists for communication purposes only. You acknowledge and agree that any information posted on our site is not intended to be legal, medical, or financial advice and no fiduciary relationship has been created between you and Technologies juridiques Legalsensus Inc. 13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, compensate, and hold harmless Technologies juridiques Legalsensus Inc. and its affiliated companies against any claim, lawsuit, or demand, including attorney fees, that may arise from or relate to your use or abuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or your conduct and actions.

14. Spam policy

You are strictly prohibited from using the site or any service offered on the site for illegal activities related to spam, including collecting addresses and personal information of others or sending mass commercial emails.

Although we have made reasonable efforts to ensure that the content of this site is accurate, we cannot guarantee that said content is error-free, up-to-date, or exhaustive. 21. Limitation of liability

We are in no way responsible for damages you may suffer arising from your use of the site, to the fullest extent of the law. The maximum liability of Technologies juridiques Legalsensus Inc. arising from your use of the site is limited to one hundred (100) Canadian dollars or the amount paid to Technologies juridiques Legalsensus Inc. in the last six months, whichever is higher.
